Artemis College and South Hill Park are looking for 40 young creatives for our outdoor summer show this August!

Who: Performers and trainee crew, costumiers, stage managers, lighting and sound, directors and event managers.

  • Creatives - you will shadow the professional creative team and help build and run the show.

For both cast and trainee creatives, a qualification to recognise your hard work will be taken at the end of the event. For Performers this will be graded Musical Theatre qualifications (grade 3-8 depending on age and ability). For creatives crew either an Arts Award or other technical qualification to suit your role in the production. All grades at 6+ attract UCAS points. In the past two summers 100% of our musical Theatre performers achieved a Merit or Distinction!

What: two and a half weeks of rehearsals at South Hill Park, with a graded exam or other qualification at the end, and then 4 days of shows for the public.

Where: South Hill Park Arts Centre, Ringmead, Bracknell, RG12 7PA. Performances are all in the Amphitheatre - giving you a chance to try site-specific outdoor theatre.

  • Rehearsals: 10th Aug-26th Aug. Mon-Fri 10-6.

  • Performances: 27th -30th Aug (8 shows).

  • Graded exams: 21st August.

It is FREE to participate (including graded exams) if you are a British or EU citizen, and aged 16-19* in August 2020.

This is an intense summer training experience which works towards graded exams/qualifications and the annual Summer Show at South Hill Park in the amphitheatre! You must be available for all show and rehearsals for a principle part. You can't be working on any other show or summer school at the same time. Call times for rehearsals will be 10-6 daily.
