Omni Theatre

Creating high calibre theatre, immersive parties and events. Founded 2015.

Originating in Berkshire, Omni Theatre was born as a result of two theatre professionals wanting to answer the call for a different type of evening out.

What happened to good, old-fashioned entertainment? With a focus on fun and enjoyment, Omni Theatre brings together inspiration and experience from musical theatre, pantomime, music bands and performances, and community, applied and youth theatre.

Omni is owned and run by Brad Clapson and Rosie Hill. Both Brad and Rosie are alumni of Artemis/Niki Robinson, and are now both Directors at Artemis College.

Omni have a network of amazing practitioners working for and with them, and they run our acting company for young people, Medusa Pro. They also offer work experience on their professional shows and events - most recently ‘Just Judy which is a brand new musical Brad wrote, which is now being taken on a national tour by Blackeyed Theatre in 2021. They also organise events nights- and our young people can audition to perform, as well as much of the ambassador work for the newly opened Lexicon in Bracknell.

Just Judy

Touring the UK from October 2020

by Brad Clapson

A co-production with OMNI Theatre in association with South Hill Park Arts Centre

In autumn 2020 Omni Theatre and Blackeyed Theatre bring to the stage a brand new musical biopic about the legend that was Judy Garland.

1969. The Mike Gable show. Judy Garland’s final TV appearance, a celebration of an incredible career packed with live performances of her most famous songs alongside astonishing tales from the roles that brought her international stardom.

The cameras are rolling and a nation listens as Judy recounts a remarkable journey through Vaudeville and the world of Hollywood dreams. But stardom has a price, and Judy’s own yellow brick road wasn’t always painted with rainbows.

Fifty years on from the death of Judy Garland, and in the wake of the hit movie, Judy, starring Renée Zellweger, Just Judy captures the highs and lows of one of the greatest performing artists of all time; funny, heart-breaking, thrilling, Just Judy is an inspiring, magical evening of theatre and song. So forget your troubles and get rhythm. Happy days are here!
